To ensure the best results, we recommend gently exfoliating your lips daily with a soft lip scrub in the days leading up to your appointment. Follow with a nourishing lip balm to keep your lips hydrated and smooth.
Please avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, niacin, blood thinners, or consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after your treatment, as these may increase sensitivity or the risk of bruising.
Avoid SUN and TANNING BED exposure for 15 days before and after your procedure.
Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before procedure.
No Botox or fillers in the procedure area less than at least one month prior.
Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

If you have a history of cold sores, please be aware that lip tattooing can trigger an outbreak. We strongly advise consulting with your physician prior to booking your appointment.
If you experience frequent cold sores, you may not be an ideal candidate for this treatment. A medical consultation is essential to ensure your safety and suitability.
Should you have an active cold sore, breakout, scratch, or any irritation in the lip area at the time of your appointment, please contact us immediately to reschedule. For your safety and to maintain treatment integrity, we will not be able to proceed under these conditions.

Week 1 – Healing Process
Immediately After the Procedure:
Following your treatment, it is normal for the lips to feel dry, tight, chapped, and tender. Some swelling and a bright or intense color may also be present — this is part of the initial healing process.
Avoid any kissing, rubbing, or friction on the treated area.
Apply the recommended ointment several times a day to keep your lips consistently moisturized.
Refrain from consuming oily, spicy, or heavily seasoned foods, and always use a straw when drinking.
After each meal, gently rinse your lips with water, pat dry with a clean tissue, and reapply the ointmentimmediately.
Avoid pork, seafood, and dairy products during the first week, as they may increase the risk of allergic reactions and hinder the healing process.
Days 6–7:
During this time, your lips will naturally begin and complete the peeling process. As the top layer sheds, the color will soften and lighten by approximately 30% to 50%, revealing a more natural hue.
-
Please keep in mind that semi-permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing, and as such, it involves a healing process. During this period, the skin may flake or peel — this is completely normal and part of the natural regeneration cycle.
It’s important to remain calm and allow the skin to heal without interference. As the peeling subsides, the color will appear significantly lighter. This is not the final result.
The true color will gradually emerge over the course of 4 weeks, at which point you’ll be able to evaluate the outcome. If necessary, a touch-up session can be scheduled to perfect the shape or enhance the color.
-
Color retention and the longevity of your results will vary depending on your skin type and lifestyle habits. Factors that may affect how your skin holds pigment include:
Excessive sweating
Hormonal changes
Extremely oily or acne-prone skin
Enlarged or open pores
Frequent tanning or sun exposure
Regular chemical peels or exfoliating treatments
Overuse of retinoids or active skincare products on the treated area
These elements can cause pigment to fade more quickly or heal unevenly, and may require more frequent touch-ups to maintain optimal results.

The full Lip Blush procedure takes approximately 3 hours. We’ll begin with a consultation to go over your desired look and discuss the best lip color and shape for your features. I’ll then create a detailed pre-drawing so you can see the design beforehand, and we can make any necessary adjustments together.
To ensure your comfort, a numbing cream is applied before we start. This takes about 15–20 minutes to take effect. Once you’re fully numb, I’ll begin the pigmentation process, which typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes. If needed, I’ll reapply the numbing cream during the session to keep you comfortable.
After the procedure, you can return to your regular activities right away—just be sure to follow the aftercare instructions for best results.
