PRE CARE
You must exfoliate your lips everyday with a lip scrub prior to treatment date, and apply a lip moisturizer.
Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E, niacin, blood thinner or alcohol at least 24 hours prior to and after your procedure.
If you have had cold sores in the past, lip tattooing can and most likely will cause outbreaks.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Consult with your physician. Please, do not take this service without first talking to your doctor first.
If you frequently suffer from cold sores, maybe you are not a candidate for this. Please, consult with your physician before booking.
If you have an outbreak on your lip area, or any other type of scratch/acne please reschedule your appointment as soon as possible. We will not be able to work on you at this moment.
Avoid SUN and TANNING BED exposure for 15 days before and after your procedure.
Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before procedure.
No Botox or fillers in the procedure area less than at least one month prior.
Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

AFTER CARE
WEEK 1
Immediately following the procedure, lips will feel dry, chapped, tight and tender to the touch. They may appear swollen and bright in color.
No kissing, rubbing or friction on treatment area.
Apply ointment on lips several times a day. Keep lips moist at all times. Avoid oily, spicy and heavily seasoned food and drink with a straw. After every meal gently rinse and clean lips with water and pat dry, then re-apply ointment.
Do not eat pork, seafood and dairy products, to avoid allergic reactions during the healing.
DAY 6-7
Between these days, lips will begin and end the process of peeling, and color will lightened by 30%-50%.
WEEK 2
Lips are done peeling, and the color is lighter. You may return to normal routines. Lips will continue to heal for up to 6 weeks. Every week more color will surface, it is important to continue keeping lips moist to get the best color at the end of the healing phase.
WEEK 6
Your lips are healed.
In the case of lip neutralization, the number of sessions varies for each client, everything will depend on the amount of melanin that the client has on their lips.
Don't Picking, peeling, or scratching of the treatment area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.
Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds. The continued use of at least SPF 30 sunblock with UVA and UVB protection will help to prevent fading.
The perfecting session ensures good color saturation and provides the opportunity to fine tune the final shape and color.
